NY Yankees play with Autistic kids

The NYC Autism Charter School and the MLB Players Trust hosted their third annual baseball clinic in New York City. The Autism Charter School opened in 2005 and had over 50 students participate in the clinic with 6 New York Yankees players.
Among the highlights of the event included All-Star third baseman Alex Rodriguez who made an appearance. In addition other Yankee players included Andrew Miller, Chase Whitley, John Ryan Murphy, Chris Martin and Chasen Shreve.

People with Asperger's and famous autistic people sometimes share a deep passion for something and due to this extreme passion, many adults with Asperger's syndrome end up excelling in careers involving their interest. It's not uncommon for adults with Asperger's to reach high ranking positions.
